Roadmap

Here's what we're actively building for Show Up Anyways: Focus, and what's next. This updates as things move — no votes, no tickets to file, just a look at the workshop.

Planned

· 4

Weekly Planned vs. Actual hours

See how the hours you set out to protect compare to the hours you actually shielded, week over week.

Shared Foundations

Export a Foundation (a saved session template) and share it with a friend or teammate.

Apple Watch complication

Start and check a Focus session without pulling out your phone.

Silence other apps' notifications during a Focus

A true in-app toggle can't reach into other apps' notifications on iOS (researched and confirmed) — the real fix is a guided setup that helps you configure a matching iOS Focus mode, which this app can then turn on/off with your sessions.

In Progress

Deeper Insights analytics

More detail on what a Touchpoint interrupted and how sessions trend over time, not just totals.

Focus overtime timer

Keep going past your planned session length instead of the timer just stopping when it hits zero.

Focus overtime timer

Sessions now count up past the original length instead of ending abruptly.

Touchpoint history

Every logged Touchpoint is now saved and reviewable, not just visible in the moment.

iCloud sync across devices

Foundations, history, and settings now follow your Apple ID automatically, no account required.

Fixed: nudge firing when your screen is locked

The "come back to your Focus" notice no longer fires just because you locked your phone — only when you actually leave to another app.

Real Pomodoro check-ins, with an adjustable interval

Pomodoro now actually checks in during a Focus, and the interval is adjustable in Settings instead of fixed.

Persistent "stay on this screen" during a Focus, with a leave-warning

The active Focus screen now warns you when you try to navigate away mid-session.

Real live timer on the Home Screen widget

Added an actual Home Screen widget tile with a live countdown, separate from the Lock Screen / Dynamic Island Live Activity.

Foundation vs. Focus explainer

The Foundation screen now explains the difference: Foundation is the general topic (e.g. "Business"), Focus is what you're specifically working on under it (e.g. "Business 1" vs "Business 2").

Quick-select + fuzzy-dedup past Focuses

Past Focuses can now be quickly re-selected, and near-duplicate/typo'd names are detected so the list stays clean.

Hold-to-leave on the active Focus screen

Leaving an active Focus now requires a deliberate press-and-hold, so an accidental tap can't exit a session.

Per-Focus app shielding (Pro)

A saved Focus (e.g. a specific business or client) can now have its own allowed-apps list, so a Focus that needs phone/text/email open isn't blocked by your default shield.

Real, branded block screen

Blocked apps now show this app's own screen instead of Apple's plain default, with a way to flag "this app is actually needed for this Focus."
